Dubai Hills Estate, or simply Dubai Hills, is a green family area with a golf course, parks and one of the city’s large malls. People move here to live with children, and it is one of the few areas where both apartments and villas work well.

My view
If you are relocating with a family, Dubai Hills is one of the first areas I would look at. For investors, apartments here yield about as much as the centre with a calmer life around them. Villas are a different calculation: more an investment in your own quality of life and price growth than in rental income.
