The Government of the Emirate of Sharjah has announced a temporary reduction in registration fees for real estate transactions during the upcoming Acres 2025 exhibition.

Buyers and sellers can save half of the standard fee by paying just 2% instead of the usual 4% of the transaction value.

Acres 2025, to be held from January 22 to 25 at the Sharjah Exhibition Center, promises to be the largest ever held. Over 110 developers and investment companies will present their residential, commercial and industrial real estate projects on 10,000 square meters.

According to Saeed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Real Estate Sector Representatives Committee at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the annual growth in the scale of the exhibition is due to the liberalization of real estate regulations for foreigners and attractive conditions for transaction registration.

“Sharjah’s real estate market is booming. Major real estate developers such as Arada, Alif and IFA are actively launching new projects. Following the introduction of ownership for foreigners, demand has increased significantly,” said Al Suwaidi.

The success of last year’s exhibition, where the total value of concluded deals exceeded Dh1.4 billion, prompted the organizers to expand the exhibition space. Market experts predict that preferential conditions for registration of transactions will attract a new wave of investors to the emirate, strengthening its position as a promising destination for real estate investments.
