Three cups “Azure Dragons”

Porcelain factory · since 1953

coral red · azure dragons · gold

Three unique cups from a porcelain factory in operation since 1953. The finest handwork: azure dragons among multicoloured clouds on a coral red ground, with a gold rim. Inside, a deep black glaze with golden stars, like a night sky that opens with every sip.
They exist as a single set. A piece for true collectors: cups like these are not found in catalogues, they are met once.

“Dragons and the Flaming Pearl” set: gaiwan, cup and tray

Yun Shan Pian Yu workshop

gaiwan · cup · tray

Fine handmade ceramics from the Yun Shan Pian Yu workshop. Dragons soar through smoky clouds around a flaming pearl, a classic Chinese motif in which the pearl stands for wisdom and perfection. The painting is delicate, with gold accents, and every scale is drawn by hand.
The set includes a gaiwan, a cup and a tray for the tea ceremony. It exists as a single piece. Not something you buy for every day, but something you pass down.

Dragon teaware set: gaiwan, cup and dish

Yun Shan Pian Yu workshop

Fine handmade ceramics from the renowned Yun Shan Pian Yu workshop. A dragon among clouds and waves, delicate painting with gold. In China the dragon is a symbol of strength and good fortune.
This set exists as a single piece. To me it is not just teaware, it is the Hermès of ceramics.
